Collie Mouse

This is an alternative controller for the 3Dconnexion Space Mouse on Cinema 4D R25 (Windows only).

Note that this product has fallen out of maintenance and will not be updated any more, so it can be downloaded for 0€. Users of R25 as the final perpetual version of C4D may still find it useful though.

This controller replaces the built-in Space Mouse controller of C4D with additional options and handling. Warning: C4D uses an older protocol to address the 3Dconnexion driver. This makes it incompatible with Collie Mouse. You can only use one of these controllers at a time.

Also, you will need to remove all instances of the 3Dconnexion settings file "Cinema 4D.exe.xml" or "Cinema 4D.xml" from all relevant directories, because the default files specify the older protocol!

Manually do this in the directories:

C:\Users\<Your User>\AppData\Roaming\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\Cfg

<installation directory>\SpaceNavigator\3DxWare\3DxWinCore64\Cfg

C:\ProgramData\3Dconnexion\3DxWare\Cfg

(if settings file is present). Make backups of your previous settings files if you wish to restore the installation later.
